Project grow Workshops
Project G.R.O.W.'s workshops are designed to educate and engage adolescents about financial literacy, installing confidence rather than fear and confusion when facing financial struggles. Project G.R.O.W.'s workshops focus on establishing financial "roots" within students, exposing students to all aspects of financial literacy. Each workshop introduces the fundamentals of the topic, utilizing credible information from research conducted with Oakland University Professor Frank Cardimen. It is followed by a combination of practical simulations, entertaining mini-games, and demonstrative data tables. These aspects of the workshops efficiently shows rather than tells students the benefits of financial literacy, and the risks in not being financially literate.
